Event Description:Framingham State University Career Services & Employer Relations would like to invite you to our biannual Reverse Career Fair and Networking Event to view student work from a variety of majors. The Reverse Career Fair will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 between the hours of 12:00-3:00 pm in the FSU McCarthy Center Forum. There will be two sets of student presenters, first viewing of 30 student's work is from 12-1:30 pm and second viewing of an additional 30 students is at 1:30 – 3:00 pm. Once you register for the event, we will supply you with student biographies as we get closer to the event date. Stay as little or as long as you like!
This is an opportunity for EMPLOYERS to meet and see professional portfolios, marketing and business plans, and projects designed by potential employees and interns! Instead of the usual and traditional career fair set-up, students would be behind the tables showcasing their work, and employers would go from table to table to see what you have been working on in and out of class. Our STUDENTS are excited to network and showcase visual, graphic, web design, business plans, and/or professional writing work to YOU our visiting employers.
Presenting at the Reverse Career Fair is intended mainly for communications, graphic and web design majors, as well as students from our computer science, marketing, professional writing, and business information technology majors, but all students are encouraged to attend the event. We also have several tables of students from campus clubs and organizations that will tell you about the work that they do within their clubs (campus newspaper, student activities, etc.). Feel free to speak with students about your possible internships, part-time, and full-time positions.
Please bring any supplementary information about your company, internships, and job opportunities to share with students for our networking table. However, considering that space is tight, please do not bring any posters or displays because you do not have a dedicated recruiting table. We encourage employers to take resumes, business cards, and/or photos of student showcases if they would like. Bring your business cards as we will be doing giveaways of FSU logo items every 15 minutes.

Three awards will be awarded to students at the Reverse Career Fair. We are asking employers to vote 1) Best overall showcase 2) Most impressive students and 3) Most unique or creative display. Considering this, please make every effort you can to visit all showcases throughout your time at FSU.
